Ενα εξαιρετικό βίντεο που συνοδεύτει ένα από τα καλύτερα κομμάτια μέσα από την δισκογραφική επιστροφή της Linda Perhacs που κυκλοφόρησε και επίσημα χθες, 44 ολόκληρα χρόνια (!) μετά το ντεμπούτο της.
Το 'Prisms Of Glass' δε ήταν η αρχή όλων οπως δηλώνει και η ίδια σε πρόσφατη συνέντευξή της στο Adhoc:
"Out of the blue, I got a phone call from Frosty McNeill of Dublab Internet, which is a huge internet all over the world, coming out of Silver Lake. And Frosty’s at the center of this huge group of musicians: artists of every kind.
So I got a phone call at five o’clock one day, standing in my dental room. I don’t know why I picked up the line directly, but something said, “Grab it.” So I picked up this call at five o’clock, and it’s Frosty saying, “Linda, I’m going to have a birthday party for my radio station’s tenth anniversary. I’ve already rented the Redcat,” which is part of a music center in Downtown L.A. He said, “Would you do your main theme song from your ‘70s album?” which is “Parallelograms.” [...]
So I was just drawn into collaboration that night. I watched people like Julia Holter singing my songs-- incredible-- and I ran back backstage, and I gave her a hug, and I said, “Who are you? Julia, I’ve got a song I’ve written, and it’s called ‘Prisms of Glass.’ It needs about two hundred and fifty vocals. Would you like to help me put it together?” So that was the beginning..."

Σε άλλη συνέντευξη της δε που ανέβηκε χθες στο The Fader, η εβδομηντάχρονη πλέον folk τραγουδίστρια/τραγουδοποιός από την Topanga του LA δηλώνει πως ετοιμάζει και νέο άλμπουμ, και μάλιστα πιο "τολμηρό" μουσικά, σε συνεργασία με τον Sufjan Stevens! Καλή φάση...
