Moon over Marin...

Αφού θυμηθήκαμε στο προηγούμενο post τον καταιγιστικό surf/punk ύμνο των Dead Kennedys που ασχολείται με την περιβαλλοντική καταστροφή της ακτής της κομητείας Marin στο San Francisco, να μην το ακούσουμε; Ε; ε;

Εδώ ως υπόκρουση σε slideshow με εικόνες οικολογικής καταστροφής...

...και παρακάτω σε mp3, μια κορυφαία διασκευή του εν λόγω ύμνου (ισάξια του πρωτότυπου αν όχι ανώτερη) από τους γάλλους Les Thugs που περιλαμβάνεται στην καταπληκτική συλλογή του 1992 με τίτλο Virus 100 (All Music Guide review) από την Alternative Tentacles όπου ονόματα όπως Napalm Death, Faith No More, Mojo Nixon, L7, κλπ διασκευάζουν Dead Kennedys.
