Τρεις πολύ καλές μονές συλλογές από την Warner με συνολικά 68 τραγούδια καυτού funk από τα αρχεία κλασσικών δισκογραφικών εταιρειών (αναφέρονται πιο πάνω στον υπότιτλο των cd). Σπάνια 45άρια, διασκευές και σπάνιες εκτελέσεις από γνωστά και λιγότερο γνωστά ονόματα εποχής από τέλη δεκαετίας '60 έως μέσα προς τέλος δεκαετίας '70. Εδώ θα βρείτε "πρώτα ονόματα" μαύρης μουσικής όπως Curtis Mayfield, Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind & Fire, The Commodores αλλά και πολλά "δεύτερα" (όχι σε ποιότητα αλλά σε αναγνωρισιμότητα) ονόματα.

Και οι τρεις συλλογές είναι προσεγμένες, με καλή ποιότητα ήχου, σχόλια για κάθε track και πληροφορίες για το πότε και πως πρωτοκυκλοφόρησαν.

Συνιστώνται ανεπιφύλακτα τόσο σε φανατικούς funksters όσο και όσους θα ήθελαν μια καλή πρώτη γνωριμία με το καθαρόαιμο funk της εποχής που ορισμένες φορές παρεκλίννει είτε προς την soul είτε προς πιο ψυχεδελικούς ήχους.
